Project #4 Exquisite Corpse - Weird Mermaid Me...
Design Process
I received the body part from Erin and the legs from Kevin. The original assembled sketch is like this:
My body switched into a mermaid body, and my legs turned into phonetic-symbols-style legs (actually they are a pair of donkey’s legs). I slightly changed the style of the other two paintings to match my original head. But it is still unable to save the top-heavy situation lol.
According to the requirement, I wrote three functions for each part of my body. Also, I wrote an extra function for the “scale skirt”.
Background Story
This is me in another dimension. As a mermaid, he sacrificed his tail in exchange for the ability to walk on land. He is not used to his legs because they were too slender. But he keeps walking… Because he is heading to New Jersey to pick up his guitars!
Reflection
Using custom functions helps in the situation of calling a function several times. This not only makes the code neater, but also makes the logic clearer and more efficient.
