Project #2 Face Generater - BABY YODA !!!

Design Process

Everyone loves Baby Yoda, so I decided to draw an interactive Baby Yoda! I first draw two positions of the Baby Yoda in Illustrator. I designed the dynamic parts with its eyes, ears, and arms. After I drew the first static Yoda, I started to add the “mouseX”, “mouseY”, and “random” functions to each shape. I defined the variables for the zero points of each part, in order to realize the moment and rotation. In addition, I used the “mousePressed” function on the blue vomit. Have fun with Baby Yoda!!!

Reflection

Although the Baby Yoda meets the all-required functions in week two’s assignment, I realized that actually, this Yoda P5 is not a “generator”. I have considered adding functions in “mousePressed” or “keyPressed” to change a random color of Baby Yoda’s face or the size of its eyes. However, I insisted that Baby Yoda is Baby Yoda, it cannot be changed! Throughout the practice of using variables, I learned that the variables are the carriers for the dynamics and interactions. The clever use of variables and linking them together will achieve many unexpected results.
